The beautiful Karun with 950 km long is the largest and longest river in Iran. Karun is the only river in Iran that partially has navigable waterway. It flows out of the Zagros mountains ranges and receives many forks like the Dez and the Kuhrang. Karun in its way to its final destination, Persian Gulf, joins with Arvand Rud (Shatt al-Arab). 🔊

کارون زیبا با ۹۵۰ کیلومتر طول بزرگترین و طولانی‌ترین رودخانه در ایران است. کارون تنها رودخانه‌ای در ایران است که بخشی از راه آبی آن قابل کشتی رانی است. از رشته کوه‌های زاگرس جریان گرفته و شاخه‌های زیادی مانند دز و کوه رنگ به آن ملحق می‌شوند. کارون در مسیر رسیدن خود به مقصد نهایی‌اش، خلیج فارس، به اروند رود (شط العرب) ملحق می‌شود.

The many bridges crossing over Karun made Ahvaz the first city in the Middle East to hosts 8 amazing bridges. Pol Sefid, the oldest metal bridge in the Middle East, and the Suspended Bridge (Cable Bridge) the largest suspended bridge in the Middle East are among these beautiful bridges. 🔊

کارون از شهر زیبای تاریخ و زندگی، مرکز استان خوزستان، اهواز، عبور می‌‌کند. پل‌‌های متعدد بر روی کارون، اهواز را به اولین شهری در خاورمیانه تبدیل کرده که هشت پل زیبا را در خود میزبانی می‌‌کند. پل سفید، قدیمی ترین پل فلزی در خاورمیانه، و پل معلق (پل کابلی) بزرگترین پل معلق خاورمیانه در میان این پل‌‌های زیبا قرار دارند.

The two side shores of Karun in Ahvaz are adding more beauty to this river and also playing a vital role in the inhabitant’s nightlife. Riding a boat or walking along its shore and watching seagulls flying in the sky can give ineffable feeling of joy that definitely sticks with the visitors for a very long time. 🔊

دو ساحل اطراف رودخانه کارون در اهواز زیبایی دو چندانی را به این رودخانه می‌‌بخشند و همچنین در زندگی شبانه ساکنین نقش حیاتی ایفا می‌کنند. قایق سواری یا در طول ساحل قدم زدن و تماشا کردن پرواز مرغان دریایی در آسمان قطعا می‌‌تواند احساس شادی غیر قابل توصیفی در بازدید ‌‌کنندگان به وجود آورد که قطعا تا مدت‌‌های طولانی با آنها باقی خواهد ماند.
